The Patissier Diary (パティシエ日記) is an interactive, toy book from Bandai, released in October, 2001, according to Bandai's website. It resembles the book from the anime, Ojomajo Doremi, which allowed the fairies from the anime to talk. The retail price was 9,350 yen.
The book features an animated face of Doremi, which talks, winks, moves its mouth, and blinks its eyes. It comes with a candy cane stylus you can use to choose options in the book, when playing games.
The diary contains lines from eleven characters, including Dodo, Rere, Mimi, Roro, Nini, Hana-chan, Doremi, Hazuki, Aiko, Onpu, and Momoko.
It comes with five pages in total that have a frame with a fairy's hair and hat attached, so you could put these frames over the talking face from the book, allowing you to change the play mode and the fairy.
Play modes include:
