Torch, My Blazin' Dragon

Torch, My Blazin' Dragon is an interactive toy from the FurReal Friends toyline, by Hasbro. It requires four C batteries, and the planned launch date was fall, 2016. Torch was shown at the 2016 American International Toy Fair and retailed for $79.99.

Appearance

Torch is a light blue dragon with dark blue, glittery eyes, and a yellow tummy area. He has strands of reddish orange fur hanging from his ears that turn yellowish toward their ends, four white claws on each foot, and dark blue spines on his head. He also has a dark blue pair of wings, dark blue paw pads on his feet, a short pair of white horns on his head, and three horns on the left and right sides of his face. His tail has dark blue spines and the tip of it has a tuft of fur, made from the same fur used for the ears.

Torch has a single tooth on his lower jaw, and he has a blue and red curved painted above his left eye and above his right eye.

Functions

Torch can turn his head left or right, duck his head and shut his eyes, raise and lower his ears, and he sprays mist from his mouth which has red lights that make the mist look red.

You can use the crystal-shaped bottle to fill Torch's tank with water; the top of the toy has the tank's plug, which can be removed to fill it with water. Distilled water is apparently recommended.

Torch can respond to having his nose stroked, and will breathe "fire" (mist) when you press the button on his chest. You can hold the marshmallow close to the mist coming from his mouth and watch it turn brown.

Prototype

The dark blue line above both eyes has a more blurred look, and Torch's tummy area has a few swirls with dots. In the first photo, the crystal that's next to Torch is a much darker blue than the released one.
