"Me, miPuppy™, and My Music"

miPuppy

Excitement might not have been able to sell something Furby-inspired, but atleast they got to sell... this.

miPuppy is a plush dog speaker from Glick Entertainment, sold by Excitement, LLC. The copyright info on the box mentions "2006", so it may have been released that year or a year later.

It requires three AA batteries.

Appearance

It resembles a plush gray and white dog with eyes that resemble speakers, and it has a speaker circle on its left and right ears. It has flashing LED lights surrounding its speaker circles, and a pair of flashing lights for the center of each speaker that is on its face. It also has a flashing light in its tail.

It looks like someone was going to make an iDog plush but they gave it a different face and ears instead of copying those. Also "miPuppy"?? While it's undoubtedly iDog-inspired, I don't know if this counts as infringement or if it would just be competition. Despite how odd it is, I think it's cool.

Functions

Aside from it having flashing lights and playing your music after being plugged into a sound source, it will wag its tail as music plays.

There's More of Them?

miPillow, miBlanket, miKitty, and miBear are also mentioned on the box. I've seen miPillow but not the others.

Glick Entertainment also filed an application on the 6th of November, 2006 for something called "Mi Teeny Tunes". I also don't know what this is.
