Rescue Pets Wake Me Up

MGA's Wake Me Up Rescue Pets line consists of animated plushies with digital alarm clocks. I don't know what year these were released in (possibly 2006?? Idk).

They require 3 AAA batteries. These were sold as "Rescue Pals Alarm Clocks (Rescue Pals - Réveil Matin)" in France.

Versions

Dalmatian Monkey Spaniel Golden Retriever
Chocolate Lab Mutt Fluffy Cat

Accessories

Each Rescue Pet comes with an adoption certificate, and a name sticker which you write the name of your pet on and stick on behind the lid of the digital clock, which is attached to the collar of your Rescue Pet.

Functions

The collar's digital clock can be used as an alarm. When the alarm goes off, your Rescue Pet, which was in a lying position, will get up and make sounds while tilting its head left and right. The dog versions bark, the cat version meows, and the monkey version chatters.

You can pet its head to put the alarm in "snooze" mode for 5 minutes. You can use this mode only thrice, but when you try to activate this mode the fourth time, the alarm will be switched off. The dog version has three types of barks for its snooze mode: a soft bark, an excited bark, and a loud bark.

Odd Images

Each Rescue Pet seems to have photos of a prototype version on its box, but two photos of prototypes were used on the MGA website, and a photo of a Spaniel prototype was used in an Amazon listing.

This photo of a Rescue Pet was used in a Pricemania listing. I don't know if there is anything special about it, since it looks like a released one. Just thought it was odd that the reflections in its eyes aren't positioned the way they would be positioned on a released one (then again the image could have been edited).
