Bodhi Robot
Bodhi Robot (宝狄机器人) is an interactive toy by an unknown company for the Bodhi and Friends franchise. It is meant to resemble a robotic version of Bodhi, and it was publicly displayed on the 20th of October, 2015 at the China International Toy and Educational Equipment Exhibition. It's unknown if the toy was released.
Appearance
The robot looks like a figure of a character in silver armor with a silver helmet. The entirety of its face is a black visor. Bodhi's face is displayed in blue pixels, and he has a yellow star on his chest, with a blue circle that seems to have a Wi-Fi symbol in the center of it.
Functions
It's unknown if the robot is capable of movement, but it is voice-activated. It can recognise different Chinese dialects, and it answers questions, such as what the weather is, by connecting to a cloud service called Bodhi Cloud. It can also provide entertaining and educational content, one of the educational features being teaching children English, and you could control Bodhi Robot via an app. Parents could use the robot to remotely communicate with their children, via a Bodhi Cloud connection.
