Brrrbils are Furby-inspired, interactive toys which were apparently created by a toy company called By George!
According to a PR Newswire article, the toys were released by Excitement in early January 2007. Excitement was a company associated with Awesome! Toys. While I have seen the news article myself and saved a transcript of it, unfortunately the original article was not saved on the Wayback Machine, so I can't prove it is legitimate.
They were described in the YouTube demo as a toy that "combines the nurturing play pattern of Tamagotchi with the interactive appeal of Furby".
The video shows a blue version with a lighter shade of blue for its tummy and face, and a black (or dark blue?) version with a yellow tummy and face. A red version is believed to exist, but this is unconfirmed.
A demo was publicly shared on YouTube on February 22, 2007 by WonderwomanM.
According to the demo, Brrrbils speak a language called Brrrbilese and react when you activate any of their sensors such as their tummy sensor, head sensor, back sensor, and sound sensor. If you pet its back, it will fart, if you pet its head, it will coo, and if you rub its tummy, it will laugh. If you speak to it, it will respond in Brrrbilese.
They are temperature-sensitive toys, and Brrrbils will throw a "temperature tantrum" by yelling and moving their feet, if they get too warm. Placing him in the refrigerator or attaching him to the chill pad that comes with him makes him happy. If you place him in the fridge and close the door shut, he will go to sleep once the fridge light goes out. Leave him overnight in the fridge and then open the fridge in the morning, and he will open his eyes and be ready to play.
This article is mostly off-topic, but it mentions Brrrbils towards the end.

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Awesome Toys today announced that sales of its popular Regener8r line more than doubled in 2006 over 2005, leading the company's strong sales growth in the highly competitive toy industry.
Launched in 2003, Regener8rs are toy vehicles that twist and transform into eight unique configurations. Offered in two sizes, Regener8rs, are available in Marvel Heroes, World Wrestling Entertainment and pre-school designs, along with a version with lights and sounds. Regener8rs are priced from $4.99 to $14.99.
"With no advertising support, our sell through in 2006 in retail outlets such as Walgreens, KMart, Wal-Mart and CVS was remarkable and certainly demonstrates the strong market position the Regener8r brand occupies," said Jonathan Glick, president of Awesome Toys. "Our new introductions are certain to play off the already established equity, and provide a steady revenue stream through 2007."
Added Glick, "We will continue building the brand throughout the year by adding new retailers and increasing our on-line presence."
Regener8rs are available in leading retail outlets including Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Kmart, and CVS and at http://www.thecoolestgoods.com , a leading toy web site.
Earlier this month at the internationally renowned Hong Kong Toy Fair, Awesome Toys' sister company, Excitement, launched Brrrbils to critical acclaim. Brrrbils are interactive, cryogenically-stored, temperature- sensitive toys. Priced at $24.99, they will be available later this year in mass market retailers throughout the world.

The domains savethebrrrbils.com and brrrbils.com were apparently taken down on the 13th of April, 2010. No footage of these websites appears to exist, and it's unknown what the savethebrrrbils website was about. At one point, you could find both websites listed on multiple websites that list dropped domains. justdropped.com and thaizone were two of the websites listing both domains.
Despite sites like these stating the website was taken down on the 13th of April, another source states both were taken down on the 10th of April.
While it is unverified if savethebrrrbils.com was an official website, if these dates for both websites in the screenshots are correct, then it's probable that savethebrrrbils.com was official, as both domains were apparently created at the same time.
