Butterfly is an animated bump and go toy sold by Best of Best in Chinese boxes. A company called Jia Zhi Jia Toys sold it in English boxes, while General Trade sold it in Italian boxes under the name "Corallina La Vispa Farfallina" (Corallina the Lively Butterfly).

Appearance

The toy resembles a butterfly with a cartoonish appearance and springy antennae with partially translucent, plastic tips. They have a pair of blue and yellow wings that mostly have pink, red, and yellow spots. The wings also have holes. Each butterfly wears a sneaker on each foot, has a white nose and a mouth, stripes on its back, and a dark blue pair of eyes.

Colorways

Three colorways for this toy exist:

A blue colorway with yellow legs, red shoes, purple eyelids, a yellow area around each eye, and white stripes on its back.

A purple colorway with yellow shoes, green legs, yellow eyelids, and white stripes on its back. It has a blue area around each eye. Oddly, an official photo shows a purple one with yellow stripes on its back, but this version of the toy is not confirmed to have been released.

A yellow colorway with black stripes on its back, red legs, green shoes, blue eyelids, and a purple area around each eye.


General Trade is only known to have sold the yellow version of the toy.

Functions

The toy partially blinks its eyes, flaps its wings, moves its eyes left and right, and wiggles its legs as it moves across surfaces with bump and go wheels. Its antennae have flashing lights, and it plays "Lollipop" by Aqua.
