Cyber Popito is a robotic dog sold by Teamforce Co., Ltd. The toy was distributed in Japan as "Great Max" (グレートマックス) by Tsukuda Original. Topix was selling the toy on one of their websites for $99.95, and had it listed as "Robo Popito". The name of Haier's version, which was sold in China, is unconfirmed, but a website (sinobuy.cn) had it listed as "Haier Robot Dog" (海尔机器狗). The listing mentions the market price for it was 898 yuan, the original price was 808 yuan, and the VIP price listed is 767.7 yuan.
Teamforce's website mentions Cyber Popito requires 3 AAA batteries for the remote, and 3 AAA batteries and 4 C batteries for the dog.
Cyber Popito is a much larger version of Popito Jr. but with a very different look. In contrast to Popito Jr., Cyber Popito has a neck, a pair of ears that point upwards rather than hang, a tail that looks more like a dog tail, a hexagonal area for speaker gaps, Cyber Popito has only been confirmed to come in silver.
Though I've only seen Cyber Popito in silver and even the website just lists "Silver" as the only color he comes in, there's still the possibility of other colors and patterns existing, like the blue and silver color scheme, and the pink and silver version on Great Max's box. You can view Teamforce's description on Cyber Popito here.
According to Teamforce's website, Cyber Popito's remote (as seen in the first picture on this page) uses three AAA batteries, and the dog has 6 sensors, including:
Cyber Popito can walk, sit, wag his tail, nod his head and turn it left and right, and he has red, glowing eyes that can change expressions. According to Teamforce's website, Cyber Popito can get sick, walk left or right, open and close his mouth, move his ears, poop, scratch himself, shake himself, and 'shake-hand'. Great Max's box mentions that the dog can pee.
He can respond to spoken commands or when you use his remote on him, and he has two stages of development, like Popito Jr., where he grows from a puppy to a mature dog. He also plays music, sings, and dances, and is able to play up to 8 games. The website claims two of the games are educational since one involves math, and the other is a "DJ" game.
A listing for Haier's version mentions he can do multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division but will make fun of you if you get an answer wrong. According to the listing and Teamforce's website, Popito has a room guard mode, and can let you know when his batteries are getting low by making sounds and using his eyes. Cyber Popito will fall asleep if you leave him alone.
Haier's website mentions he can sing and dance with another Cyber Popito, you can play a game where you have to guess what he is going to do, he can play over 20 songs, and that he has a 'guard' mode where he will react if he suddenly detects a sudden change in light or noise.
