Dan Dan Long

Dan Dan Long or Egg Dragon (旦旦龍) is an interactive dragon by Kidcho from 2019.

Appearance

The toy is only known to have been released in orange with five, small, blue horns on its head above its eyes, and it has four orange horns near the back of its head on the left side of its face, and on the right side of its face. It has It has a small pair of wings, a pale, pink tummy area, and an orange tail that points downwards. It stands on two legs, which are each attached to wheels, and it has a small pair of arms. The dragon has a pair of ears that point downwards, and a little, round nose on the front of its face.

The egg it comes in has a picture of what appears to be the toy, little illustrations of the sun, some grass, clovers, birds or pterosaurs in the distance, footprints, and some dinosaurs.

Blue & Yellow Versions

At the China Toy Expo in 2019, blue and yellow ones were shown, along side orange ones. I don't think these got released, however, as I haven't found any more pictures of them.

Functions

It comes in an egg that you nurture until the dragon hatches by itself and rolls out of the egg on the wheels that are beneath the dragon itself. If you caress the egg, a friendly dragon will hatch. If you turn the egg upside down or hit the egg instead of gently rubbing it, it will be angry when it hatches. While it's in the egg, it can start speaking and you could start hearing the noise of a heart beating.

You can close the sides of the egg back and get the front hatch for the egg to close up (not sure how, but there might be a button for this??). The egg can be used as a night lamp, and it can play 22 different sound tracks. I'm not sure if the dragon needs to be in the egg, though.

The dragon can flap its wings, turn its head, change the colors of its glowing eyes, and move forward. It can sing, do storytelling, respond to certain phrases in Chinese, and test your knowledge on three topics, including:

Eye Colors

The dragon's eye color can change, according to how it feels.

Eye Color	Mood
Red	Either, the batteries are low, or it's angry.
Yellow	Playful, mischevious, or flirtatious
Pink	Likes something, or feels shy or happy
White	Feeling comfortable or enjoying itself. Can also indicate that the toy is fully charged.
Purple	Shock or embarassment
Blue	Depressed, unhappy, or uncomfortable

This version is called Lovely Pet, and it looks as if it was sold by another company. Its eyes and a button on its back light up. It plays music when you press the button on its back, and it comes in a green or orange color scheme. Their wings are bigger than Egg Dragon's wings.
