Hamu Hamu Hamtaro

This is a Hamtaro plush which nibbles on your finger when you insert your finger into its mouth. It was sold by Epoch in Japan with a retail price of 1,680 yen, and it requires two AAA batteries. Epoch's website mentions "12/6" as the release date, but doesn't mention the year this was released in.

I assume the toy in the last image is one because it looks like it. Weirdly, this image was also used when mentioning the name of another Hamtaro product on Epoch's website. I guess it was a mistake?
