Idéfix
This is an interactive toy by Smoby Toys, based on the dog, Idéfix (or Dogmatix), from the Asterix franchise. It requires four AA batteries, and appears to have been released in 2014.
Commands
I haven't seen a demo video of the toy, but Dogmatix responds to the following commands in French:
- Bisous! (Kisses!)
- Tu veux jouer? (Do you want to play?)
- Danse Avec Moi! (Dance with me!)
- Aboie! (Bark!)
- Dis bonjour! (Say hello!)
- Bonne nuit! (Good night!)
- Sur la tête! (Give paw!)
- Assis! (Sit!)
- Couché! (Lie down!)
- Debout! (Stand!)
- Fais le beau! (A command for getting dogs to sit up on their hind legs; not sure how to translate this, but "sit pretty" does sound close)
Gallery
The one shown in a catalog has gray feet, and it looks as if it's staring downwards.
