This is an unidentified Mutsu bootleg from Gaoming Electronics, the company which sold Furdys (the electronic ones that can come with bowties). I found out about it here and had a look at Gaoming's info on it, which was linked on the page.
The website refers to it on this page as a "Novelty Leisure Fish Funny Pet Game with Interesting Design in Vivid Colors" and states its product number is GM-832.
This one is based on "Nanamutsu", a version of Mutsu with rainbow ears, a rainbow tail, and a star on its back. It was only sold in Japan by TOMY.
This one is slightly different from Nanamutsu. It has no star on its back, and its ears only have purple, blue, yellow, and red stripes instead of seven colored stripes. It also seems to have a purple tail.
It comes with a round tank with something that looks a little like a long yellow mushroom with a flat circular cap (an aquatic mushroom?? lol). It also comes with a remote which looks similar to an official one.
Not much is known about this fish. I don't know if you can even fill the tank with some water or not.
Gaoming's English description for the toy is strange, but it seems to mention the toy dances, sings, and plays nature sound effects:
Another odd thing mentioned by the website: "This product passed aging test, drawing test, secret test, regular test and simulate test, etc."
