Electronic Fish

IMPORTANT: I cannot verify if this is real or a hoax. I don't have a valid reason to believe it's real, though it came from a presentation on robots which someone made. The person who made the presentation didn't mention where they got their info from. Don't try to spread rumors that this is real. I have no info on it, other than the info from the presentation. If it isn't a hoax, then it could be something that didn't get released. Check slide 52 for info on the creature.

Electronic Fish (電子魚) was supposedly a planned robotic, marine creature from a company called Network Creative (網路創意). No actual photos of it are known to exist, other than an illustration that was associated with a description of it.

Appearance

The art depicts the toy as a pale, yellow creature with antennae that are curled at the tips, a pair of arms and legs, and something like blues flippers or wings behind it, that have dark blue spots. Its legs and body have dark green spots, it has orange eyes, and the left and right sides of its face have three, protruding, yellow strands that curl slightly. It also has a small, black nose, and it looks like it has a small line beneath its snout (its mouth?). Its antennae begin with an ombre of yellow near its head, and fade to orange at its curls.

Features

It swims in a sealed jar, made of glass or acrylic, with an electromagnet at its base. The electromagnet charges inductively, via a coil. It is meant to swim in salt water, rather than pure water, to help the fish float. The fish is said to have different sensors and cameras its its eyes, to help it see and react to what it sees.

The image mentions that people would be able to buy a larger tank if they wanted to.

The presentation slide itself, refers to it as a product with AI. It can recognize its owner, will swim to a certain location in the tank to charge when it runs low on power, perform actions such as blinking, dancing, leaping, dodging, and spraying water, and express emotions such as happiness, anger, or sadness. Apparently, it can also plead for mercy, pretend to be stupid, etc. If you train him well, he will try to kiss you through the jar.

The presentation mentions that each generation of the product has slightly different special functions and personalities, and that the series would become popular worldwide.
