Mechaceratops Tank Squadron

Mechaceratops Tank Squadron (机甲角龙 — 坦克战队) is an interactive, transforming robot dinosaur sold by Leba (乐霸), aka Shenzhen City Rong Shengfa Plastic Products Limited (深圳市荣盛发塑胶制品有限公司).

While it looks quite different, it shares the same interactive features as Transaurus (not on the toy list yet).

Appearance

It comes in a silver variation and a gold variation.

The silver one, as a robotic turret, features the upper body of a smiling, humanoid robot, with translucent, red eyes, and a translucent, red gun in held out in each hand. The tank has silver treads, translucent, red missile launchers (?), and there are a few, translucent, blue bits of plastic on the tank, meant to resemble a few other details (not sure what exactly). The toy has some brown stickers, one of which, include the name of the toy.

When transformed, the dinosaur has a blue horn where its nose is, red, translucent eyes, and the robot's arms are used to resemble two horns on its head. It has a silver tail.

The gold Mechaceratops has the same design as the silver one, but with a few differences.

The robot has a silver head with red, translucent eyes, while the rest of the toy is gold with some brown spray paint (minus the translucent parts of the dinosaur). It has some brown stickers like the silver one.

Functions

It has three play modes:

Dinosaur mode

Use the remote to make the tank transform into a dinosaur, by pressing the dinosaur button. You can then use the remote to make the dinosaur move back and forth, or turn its head left and right.

Tank mode

Referred to as "Robot mode" in a listing photo for a Mechaceratops. You can transform the dinosaur into a tank, and get it to turn left or right, and move forward or backwards, with the remote.

Dance Celebration Mode

Transform the tank into a dinosaur, using the remote, and press the 'D' button, to get it to play music and dance, as its lights flash.
