Mino

Mino is an interactive teddy bear by Kittrich Corporation. It was displayed at the 2007 New York Toy Fair.

While the manufacturer's suggested retail price was $300, a PCMag article mentions the price to be expected was $250.

Appearance

He has dark brown fur, with a white patch of fur for his face and tummy, and he has light brown paw pads. He wears a brown ribbon where his neck is.

Another version of him without a white tummy area exists. It also has a larger, round nose.

Functions

Mino talks, and he responds when you tickle his tummy, touch his nose, pet his head, or touch his ears. He can also dance to music he plays, and if you connect him to the Internet, he can tell you the weather.

His movements appear to be sophisticated. Some of his movements include bending his head, shaking his head, tilting his head to the left or right, waving his paws, putting both of his paws to his face, swaying from left to right, and spreading his arms out to the side or infront of himself. He can also make his head face forward or to the right.

According to toydirectory.com, Mino can learn as you play with him overtime, has "platform technology" which would allow learning games and software for an interactive storybook to be implemented later on, and his planned launch date was September, 2007.

Wand

He reacts to a wireless wand that you use for interaction. The wand can also be "used for decision-making" (not sure what this means; answering 'yes' or 'no'?). The wand detects the speed and position it is held at, and is used to activate Mino.
