Mommy Pockets

Mommy Pockets is an interactive toy by Sanja which was distributed by Bizak. It appears to be from 2018.

Appearance

The toy resembles a small squirrel-like creature, mostly made of plastic with a fluffy tail and a black pair of eyes. It was released in brown, blue, and pink colorways.

I don’t have a citation for this since the source was taken down and I had trouble finding it again, but I’ll just mention this anyways: there's a PDF (reuploaded here) which shows three versions of the toy that don't appear to have been released, including a kangaroo version, a bear version, and a rabbit version. The kangaroo one looks so much like the squirrel one, but it has a pouch and its ears seem to be raised a bit more. The file calls these "Mommy Pockets Friends".

Functions

The toy responds when you pet its head, tickle it, and feed it with its bottle. It chatters in its own language, sings, opens and closes its mouth, and it moves its eyes down and up. It apparently has a sensor on the left and right sides of its head, and it will react if you touch them.

"Animatic TVC"

This image was in the PDF with the words "Animatic TVC", but there doesn't seem to be a link to the video, just this thumbnail.

Illustrations for a storyboard can be found here.

Concept Packaging/3D Models (Mostly)

I have only seen the released toy with packaging that has Spanish on it. There is a Spanish commercial and an English commercial, though.

Other

Weirdly, the box in the commercial looks slightly different (the front of the box beneath the toy is missing some words).
