Programmed Intelligent Elephant

Programmed Intelligent Elephant, or Programming Intelligent Elephant in Chinese (编程智能象), is an interactive, robotic elephant by Le Neng Toys. It was also sold by other companies under different names.

It was sold as "Codo" by Jupiter Creations, "Robo Elephant" ("Robo Slon" in Czech) by Wiky in the Czech Republic, "Baby Elephant Acrobat" (Слонёнок-акробат in Russian) by Alliance (АЛЬЯНС), "Robotic Elephant" by Anko, and "Robo Elephant" by Robo Dumel in Poland. It was also sold as "Happy Elephants", and "RoboElephant" (רובופיל) by Spark Toys in Israel.

A strange photo of the box exists, where "Programmed" is misspelt as "Programmeg". I don't know if this is an edit, or if actual boxes out there exist with this typo.

Appearance

The elephant is white, with blue eyes, dark gray inner ears, and the word 'Machine' on the left and right sides of its body, above each back leg. It has a blue and a black ring on each leg, and a dark gray patch between its eyes, on its forehead.

Functions

It can turn left and right and move back and forth on its wheels, it can raise its head and trunk, while moving its ears back and forth, and the lights for its eyes and glow constantly or flash. It can open and close its mouth, sit, stand on its front legs, and it can raise its trunk without raising its head.

The English version of the toy responds to the following commands:

This elephant plays an instrumental version of "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)", while dancing, if you ask it to sing a song.

In addition, it has a demo mode where it performs different actions, a button which will make the elephant raise its trunk so you can play ring toss, a button that makes it do three pushups, and three dance buttons which allow it to perform three pre-programmed dances.
