Talking Roby is a knockoff toy based on Outfit 7's character with the same name. The company that made it is unknown, but is speculated to be the same company which made a knockoff 2012 Furby called Phoebe.
The toy requires three AA batteries.
Roby's mouth opens and closes, and his body can swing in a circular motion to the left or right while his legs stand in one spot. Roby also has a red LED light in each eye that flashes.
Touch Roby's head or any of his feet, and he will respond with sound effects from either a 2012 Furby or Talking Ginger. The toy also has some copied phrases from the 2012 Furbys and some original lines.
You can get Roby to repeat what you say by pressing the button in his right hand and saying something to Roby, or you can plug a device with audio into one of Roby's feet to use the toy as a speaker.
Also, Roby's arms are poseable.
This section is REALLY messy, since I can't decipher everything that's on the back of the box in this low res photo. Also, I omitted the dancing and speaker mode descriptions.
The Talking Roby has his own language and own sense, you pat his head, he is very happy to sense that you love it, and say you"hi......" .if you pat his head again, he singings for you and he invites you to enjoy his happiness. At the same time, he happily dancing for you! If you pat his foot, he can feet tickle and laughing. If you pat his head again, he will singing and say his own language with happy dancing.
If you press the recordsing mode button, Roby will play or say anything that you have recorded. Roby will feel bored and tired if you don't show any order to him.
Roby is very cute and funny, he can dance and play your favorite music to win you heart.
The Talking Roby love all genres of music. Challenge them with rock, hip hop, country (not sure if the box says this word), (not sure what the box says here), or music of your own creation! They love dancing together and have their own moves that are guaranteed to make you smile.
Roby dances(?) fast or slow (missing word here) the musical rhythm (can't figure out the sentence after this one). You can press dancing stopped button to keep the posture and just enjoying the music playing.
The Talking Roby are looking for good friends and showing them the (word missing here) music as much as they can do.
Enjoy it. Just collected! (don't know if "collected" is the word here?)
The design for the toy is attributed to Yuan Kexin, and the design patent's application date was the 3rd of June, 2014. The publication date was the 24th of September, 2014.
An unreleased version of the toy has white pupils and is missing a black outline around its feet and the clear plastic for its visor.
