The Original Scoozie Pet

The Original Scoozie Pet is an interactive toy from Senario that appears to have been released in 2006/2007. It resembles a ferret which can come in white, brown, black, or gray.

Functions

The toy blinks its eyes, moves its mouth, and wiggles its ears back and forth.

It responds to being fed treats (such as the one it came with), having its back rubbed, being scratched behind its ears, and having its belly rubbed.

According to the manual, Scoozies have likes and dislikes; a Scoozie which enjoys apples may not enjoy strawberries. The gray version comes with a watermelon, the brown version comes with a sliced apple, the black version comes with a pizza slice, while the white version comes with a strawberry.

If your Scoozie is in a bad mood when you rub its belly, your Scoozie might growl or grumble in response. Also, depending on how your Scoozie Pet feels, it will let you tickle its nose or give it a kiss on its nose.

Your Scoozie can be kept healthy and happy by playing with it and ensuring it is well fed. When it feels only slightly hungry, it will only eat its favorite snack, but when it is a lot hungrier, it will eat its favorite snack and snacks it doesn't really enjoy. If your Scoozie is in a bad mood, it might growl when you interact with it, and it won't want to play with you.

Your Scoozie will start yawning when it is tired. You can put it to sleep by lying it down. If your Scoozie was in a good mood, it will "have good dreams and wake up refreshed", but if it is in a bad mood, he may "have nightmares" and wake up feeling terrified or angry.

Scoozie also responds to sound and light.
