The Dino King

The Dino King is a bootleg Godzilla toy sold by Village Toys. It requires two AA batteries.

Versions

Village Toys

The Village Toys version is mostly dark green (or brown), with a light shade of green paint used for the front of the toy, including the face, neck, stomach, the front of its legs, and (partially) its arms. Each spine on its back has a reddish spot.

An alternative color variation seems to exist (I haven't seen it new-in-box before), where the toy is painted with a very dark shade of green and no secondary color. Unlike the other color variation, its claws on its hands and feet are painted white.

"Prehistoric Animals" Version

I can't identify the company that sold this one, as I don't have a good picture of the logo, but I doubt this is Village Toys.

A toy dinosaur which looks nothing like Godzilla was also sold under this name.

This one can come in a variation that has a dark green back and spines, and yellow paint used for the face, the front of its legs, and its tummy. Each of its spines also have a red spot.

It can also come in the green color variation the Valley Toys version comes in.

Functions

Both versions have a pair of wheels beneath their tail. Their eyes light up and they move their arms up and down as they walk. The "Dino King" version roars while walking, and it's likely the "Prehistoric Animals" version does the same thing, but there don't appear to be videos of it.

I wonder if the version from the other company was the original one, since the prototype shown on the back of the Village Toys box looks similar to it.
