Dream Pets Golden Retriever
Displayed at the 2002 Tokyo Toy Show by Sega Toys. Sega Toys planned to released it in Japan in 2002, but it doesn't look like it got released.
A Game Watch article mentions the price of the toy was going to be 6,980 yen, but an ASCII.jp article mentions the retail price would be 5,980 yen; another conflicting thing is, the Game Watch article has a photo where you can see that the price mentioned for the toy is 6,980 yen. Maybe the other article had a mistake?? The ASCII.jp article mentions that the month of release would be October, but an IT media article mentions the month of release was to be September.
It wears a blue collar, decorated with white pawprints, and a large, translcuent, plastic, red bow.
Functions
There doesn't seem to be information on how you can interact with it. It can blink its eyes, move its mouth, make its ears sway from left to right, sit, stand, and walk. It can bark, talk like a human in Japanese, and when communicate with another via infrared.
