This is a Barbie doll (head and shoulders only) that sings with mouth movement. The toy requires four AA batteries.
The toy features Rosella with her animal friends (except Tika). The stand has a figure of Azul, the blue peacock, sitting on the doll's left, and a figure of Tallulah, the white monkey with a tiara, sitting on its right. A figure of Sagi (minus his legs and tail) is also on the stand. The stand resembles a patch of green leaves. There's also a version with an African American version of Barbie.
She can talk, especially when you press the jewel button on her necklace, and she can sing "Here on my Island", "At the Ball", or "I Need to Know" when you press the music button, which resembles a flower. You can use the microphone by switching it on and pressing the music button.
She comes with a hairbrush, clips, a tiara, makeup accessories, and a fan of peacock feathers that you can attach to the back of the doll.
These prototypes look close to their final versions, but they have some differences. Tallulah is cross-eyed, and her eyes are blue, and the gem on Rosella's necklace is dark purple, instead of pink.
The shape of her face is different, and Tallulah has blue eyes, is looking downwards, and has her tail curved around the spot where the microphone is. Sagi's head is turned to his right, and Azul is almost facing forward. The flower on the microphone is different, and its handle matches the color of the holder for the microphone.
