Harp's Icecream House

Harp's Icecream House (하프의 아이스크림 집) is a playset by ToyTron, featuring a small, moving figure of a seal, and a castle made of icecream. The playset was made for a franchise called Harp and Friends, and the white seal that comes with the playset is Harp.

Features

The playset only comes with Harp, the white seal. Other characters for the playset were sold separately with an igloo. A version released in September, 2014, and a 2019 version of the playset exist.

2014 Version

The roofs of the castle resemble dollops of pink, glittery icecream that are each topped with a little red heart. The castle has a slide you can let the seals use, and a yellow balcony where you can place a seal. The castle's walls are beige, and the front wall of the castle's middle tower has three blue stripes.

The castle's slide is blue and translucent, and the middle tower of the castle has a heart-shaped window, through which the slide goes through. The ground of the playset has a figure of a pink, translucent 'snowflake tree' that has stars instead of leaves, and an igloo. The ground looks snowy, has a small fish pond infront of the igloo, and a larger fish pond behind the igloo. There is also a pink slide that lets them leave the playset and move around outside it.

2019 Version

This version is hardly different from the 2014 one. The castle roofs are a darker shade of pink, almost matching the color of the red hearts they are topped with. The balcony is blue, the middle castle tower has orange stripes instead of blue ones, and the slide is pink instead of blue. The 2019 version can come with two types of boxes. One version features CGI versions of the pink, yellow, blue, and white seals on the front, and comes with an immobile, tinier figure of a pink seal. The other box the 2019 version can come in, has a 2D illustration of harp on the box, but it does not come with the tiny, pink seal.

Additionally, this version comes with stickers of items and characters, while the 2014 version of the set doesn't.

Interaction

You can press the top of a seal's head, to get it to start or stop moving. Letting a seal use the slide will cause sounds for it to play, and the snow tree's lights to flash. Letting a seal into the igloo will cause the playset to play a musical tune and snoring sounds. Allowing it to move around the snowflake tree, lets it take a shower, with sound effects playing. When they visit the little pond of fish infront of the igloo, you're supposed to hear eating noises. The sound effects come from the playset, not the toys.

Other Characters

Except in an exclusive version of the set, other characters that can be used on these playsets were sold separately with an igloo under the title "[Character Name Here] with Igloo". They also come with a 'guardian angel' certificate, where you can name the character, write your name, mention the date on which you began raising the creature, and sign a declaration that says you will always look after it.

The exclusive playset, 'Harp with Icecream House Special Set' (하프의 아이스크림집 스페셜세트) was sold by Lotte Mart, and came with a pink whale (Mink) and a blue whale (Mink).

Other Playsets

Aside from the Lotte Mart exclusive, only two other playsets were made for these toy seals. One was called "Binggeul Binggeul Harp's Igloo House", while the other is "Wink and Harp's Igloo House"; the second playset mentioned is an alternate version of the first one I just mentioned.
