Dance Mode Chattermax

Dance Mode Chattermax is an interactive toy based on the Chattermax toy from Bluey, released by Vtech in 2025. It requires three AA batteries.

Appearance

Chattermax has a lavender body with a light green face, yellow beak, dark purple wings, yellow feet, black eyes, and a yellow ring around each of his eyes. He has a dark blue crest of feathers on the left and right sides of his head, and two purple feathers with red tips and two blue feathers with yellow tips above each eye. He also has a rectangular, translucent, white stomach area. He also has a round, white tail.

Functions

His body moves up and down, his beak opens and closes, he flaps his wings, and his stomach, the top part of his beak, and the blue feathers on his head light-up.

He has a switch with 3 modes, including:

His stomach, beak, and the blue feathers on the left and right sides of his head can be pressed down.

In Chat Back mode, when Chattermax's tummy flashes red, speak to it, and it will repeat what you said. You can get it to repeat what you say again by pressing his beak and then speaking to him. Chattermax still responds to having his stomach and his feathers pressed.

In Catch the Light, if you notice a part of Chatter Max glowing, such as his stomach, beak, or either of his crests, press it as soon as you notice it glowing. There are 4 levels in total.

In Dance Mode, Chattermax will play music, and you can change the tunes he plays by pressing down the feathers on his head. Pressing his tummy in Dance Mode will either start or stop his movements, and pressing his beak will get him to make sounds.

The toy switches off by itself after about 30 seconds, but can be switched back on by pressing its beak or tummy, or using the switch to change its play mode.
