As stated by the press release, Cepia first released four Xia-Xia Pets, which were crabs.
Three more are known to have been released later, however, not much is known about them. Cepia planned on releasing turtles for the line, and a strange one that could possibly be a snail with legs was displayed at the 2012 Toy Fair in Australia. The first four released Xia-Xia Pets have a name, birth date, and a bio. While the names of the three Xia-Xia Pets that were released later on are known, it's unknown if they have a bio and birth date.
Trinidad is an orange crab with a translucent, yellow, conical shell that appears to have something like orange and yellow flames painted on. His eyes are black, in contrast to his official art, where they are green, and his right eye is larger than his left eye. His claws and legs are a shade of orange, different from the one used for his face. His front two claws are tipped with yellow.
Trinidad's birthday is on the 5th of May, and his shell number is 0411. The Kooky Friend he comes with is Ticker, an orange alarm clock with a happy face.
A bit of trivia: The Xia-Xia Pets press release from the official website mentions his shell is "skull-spotted", even though Trinidad only has flames on his shell.
Trinidad loves to dance and play: After all, it is the Xia-Xia way. He is the best dancer of the group and loves to show off his wacky walk. Hold down his claw and watch him go! Trinidad will parade the "Xia-Xia Shuffle" for everyone to enjoy.
Bimini is a purple crab with blue eyes that mostly look upwards to the left. She has the same type of shell Trinidad has, but in purple, with purple stripes and spots, and white dots near the top of the shell. Also, the tip of the shell is painted purple. She wears what appear to be socks or stockings on her legs, which are a darker, bluish shade of purple. She also wears something of the same color which partially covers her front two claws. She wears purple shoes.
Bimini's birthday is on the 23rd of June, and her shell number is 0111. The Kooky Friend she comes with is Cuppy, a happy pink cupcake.
With dreams of one day becoming a famous shell designer, Bimini is the creative, artistic Xia-Xia. She spends her days painting shells for the Carnivale: It helps having six different legs to hold her seaweed paintbrushes! Her favorite shells are the most sparkly and bright. During the samba, Bimini shines in her candy-colored shell creations, making her the star of the festivities.
Cuppy is Bimini’s Kooky Friend. A sweet cupcake, you can place her on Bimini’s shell: Cuppy loves when Bimini gives her a picky[sic] back during the Xia-Xia shuffle! Collect all of the Kooky Friends in the world of Xia-Xia™!
Turks is a dark pink crab with blue eyes, and a pink bow on each of her antennae. She wears black ballet shoes, has a lighter pink outline of a heart on her left and right claws, and has a pink, translucent shell that looks like a snail shell. The tips of her claws are a lighter shade of pink, and her shell is covered in red and pink flecks, meant to resemble confetti.
The Kooky Friend she comes with is Bounce, a tiny person. Turks' shell number is 0211, and her birthday is on the 10th of October.
Meet Turks!
A precious little companion, Turks is the best friend a Xia-Xia can have. Sweet and silly, she adores being held by her owner especially when she can nuzzle against their cheek. She adores playfully skitter scattering in the Copacabana Playset with pals Bimini, Trinidad, and Tobago.
Tobago is a blue crab with a long face and a darker blue, translucent shell that looks like a snail shell. Tobago has a shade of blue that's a little darker than his face, for his antennae, the freckles on his front two claws, his legs, his cheeks, and the two freckles on the left and right side of his head. On the left and right side of his shell, Tobago has triangular points painted on in black and blue. The back and front of the shell are also partially painted in black and blue (I had trouble describing his shell pattern, sorry).
While he has a pair of black eyes, his official art depicts him with purple eyes. It also depicts him wearing sneakers, while the toy has no shoes.
Tobago's birthday is on the 2nd of February, and his shell number is 0311. His Kooky Friend is Globey, a model of the earth.
Meet Tobago!
Tobago is the brave adventure-seeking Xia-Xia of the group. The great grand-crab of the infamous explorer, Cornel Xia, Tobago spends his days trying to explore the depths of the Rio de Trio. You won't see this crab sitting still; determined and persistant, Tobago will see his missions through.
Dominica uses the same design as Bimini, but she has a crown instead of a shell, and her colors are different. She is a pink crab with green eyes, and her front two claws are tipped with green and covered in silver glitter. The front two claws start with a shade of pink that matches her face, and this area has a few white curves painted on. There is a darker shade of pink between the green part of her claws and the lighter pink portion of her claws. She has dark pink legs with light pink ballet shoes. Her crown is red and transcluent, with silver flecks of glitter, and the front of the crown has the swirl from the Xia-Xia Pets logo in silver.
Dominica's shell number and birthday are unknown. It's unknown if she also has an official description. She comes with five Kooky Friends, rather than one.
Helena is a recolor of Turks with a purple face, a green bow on each antenna, and two green claws. Her legs are purple with white socks and purple ballet shoes. Her front two claws have purple splotch marks, and she has a green, translucent snail shell with a large, pink, circular shape with small pink ovals on the left and right side of the shell. Her shell was sold separately as an accessory.
Her birth date is unknown. I'm assuming the shell number would be the same as the one that was sold as an accessory with two Kooky Friends. Her Kooky Friend appears to be Squirt.
Tiwi is a pink recolor of Bimini. She has a pink face with pink legs and pink claws. She also has pale pink socks/stockings on her legs, and she wears something of the same color which partially covers her two claws. Her eyes appear to be orange, and her translucent, conical shell is either pink or purple (I don't have a photo showing her outside her packaging).
