Do NOT support the Dolls Kill collab.

9/10/2024: A fan is questioning if the yellow and orange recolored Furby photos in the Furby Yoga illustration could be alluding to a possible "Pineapple Pop" Furby (the name was mentioned in a product list for 2024, separate from Hoo-Lah). I was wondering the same thing when looking at the yellow one, since yellow and green would make sense for a "Pineapple Pop" Furby, but I'm unsure if both Furbys are referencing an unreleased one or if the artist just tried to recolor them randomly.

Also, there's a plush koala toy being sold on Amazon by Houwsbaby. It was manufactured by Yangzhou STEP Toys & Gifts Co., Ltd., and appears to be Furby-inspired. I'll try to make a page for it later, since it's interesting.

8/10/2024: Kaikaiby on Instagram appears to have found the factory which produces fur for the Furbys and Furblets! They also shared photos of Swee-Dee and the yellow Furblet with their eyes visible.

7/10/2024: In late September, ssm0770 discovered the name of the Easter-themed Furblet which has been featured on licensed apparel from Amazon and has had an actual photo of itself leaked. The name is 'Swee-Dee'. There's also a listing for distributors on vedes.com for Swee-Dee.

There have been claims that the name of a Halloween-themed Furblet featured on Amazon apparel is "Nee-May". I don't have confirmation for this. There's a shirt with the Furblet that says "Nee-May and Spooky!", but this doesn't directly tell us "Nee-May" is the Furblet's name. There's also speculation that this Furblet is going to have a physical toy, which makes sense, since the Easter Furblet and Sno-Way have the same type of merch.

The distributor site mentioned also has a Furby-branded "decorative column" listed, but no image of it, currently.

4/10/2024: I SO haven't been updating this part of the site while news has been getting released, as I've been working on other pages for the site, but special announcement: Someone posted an image of Furbys that happen to be hybrids of other animals! Something I don't think I've seen since I saw footage of Creative Filter's 3D Furby model with a unicorn horn!

The person stated the image was from a Hasbro survey of products that were yet to come and that they were getting people to vote which Furbys they like and which ones they like the least and why. There's a chance that what's seen here is concept art, and that Hasbro might choose and work on the most popular one (or ones) from this image.

I feel even more excited to know what Hasbro is up to. Their DJ Furby trademark finally got assigned to an examiner on the 7th of September this year, meaning, someone needs to make sure the trademark legally complies and doesn't have any issues. Before the trademark update, two photos of what is more than likely a setup for recording and/or taking photos of DJ Furby were posted by a photography studio (you can see them on DJ Furby's page). The toy is not visible AT ALL in both photos, unfortunately.

22/6/2024: The French version of the Smyths website revealed a photo of the Cotton Candy Furby's French box, and an official, actual photo of the toy (we only had the official, edited photos of what it looks like and the leaked footage, before). Hungarian retailer, Regio Játék, shared official photos of the boxes for the series 2 Furblets in a listing, and mentioned to specify which Furblet you want when ordering from their website. The series 2 Furblets still aren't available on Entertainment Earth's website.

18/6/2024: A Spanish version of the Aurora Furbealis box is out! However, the Spanish version of the Furby isn't out, yet. It was listed on Toysmaniatic's website.

The Entertainer (UK retailer) has the Galaxy Furby listed for sale, but it also isn't available yet.

Some new merch was displayed at Hasbro Partner Day (Spain). The image was posted by CyP Brands on Linkedin. No release dates are mentioned, but they said they got to learn a lot of details about what Hasbro has scheduled for next year (the event featured other things by Hasbro; not just Furby merch). The box on the wall looks like it has one of the bags Reig Musicales featured in a 2023 catalog page on Flickr.

A few more photos of the wave 2 Furblets have surfaced from retailers, La Grande Récré (French retailer), and Argos.

12/6/2024: ATTENTION! I can't verify this for sure, but what looks like official art for DJ Furby has been leaked. While I think it could be legit, especially because of the art style, I think it's best to stay cautious until more information surfaces. I was absolutely hyped upon finding this image. The image was used as a profile picture on TikTok by @iqxaoo.

11/6/2024: A lot has happened since I last posted an update here. More photos of the series 2 Furblet boxes have surfaced, including photos of Dah-Tee's box. Not sure if Toys"R"Us has this offer, but if you purchase five Furby-related products from a seller on JD.com, you could receive a plush Furby bag. The offer is limited to five people per day.

2/6/2024: Some more photos of the Series 2 Furblets were revealed by the Japanese Furby Amazon store in their series 1 Furblet listings. Some new photos of Greenie Meanie and May-May can also be found there.

2/6/2024: Felt like adding earlier, Yodobashi and Rakuten also offer the Japanese version of the new Furby, and the Furblets. However, as stated before, the Fierce and Fabulous pack is Amazon-exclusive. At the time of typing this, Ray-Vee, Luv-Lee, the purple Furby, and the Tie Dye Furby, are no longer accepting pre-orders on Yobodashi (lots of pre-orders I guess?).

1/6/2024: Furbys and Furblets became available for pre-order in Japan, today. The Coral Furby and Ooh-Koo were available for pre-order on the Toys R Us website, roughly 10 hours ago, but now they aren't. The Amazon store does not have the purple and coral colors available, but the Tie-Dye Furbys and Furblets are available. Also, @_dinosaurboy_ on Instagram took photos of Furblet stickers, and a DIY Furblet bracelet kit that you receive in a box as a gift, for buying Furblets from Toys R Us in China. They also shared photos of a Furblet store display and a demo one, and two photos of a Furblet’s Chinese manual. I've linked the post, since I can't make any new pages for now. Also, we might be getting Furby Easter baskets in 2025 from PTI Group, and buckets featuring official art of 2012 Furbys??

25/5/2024: Furbys and Furblets are available on Toys R Us Japan's website for pre-order. Also, not Furby-related, but Hasbro formed an agreement with Merchantwise, a licensing agent for New Zealand and Australia. I don't know if they will be licensing official Furby merch for Hasbro, but thought I'd mention this, incase it happens.

24/5/2024: Just something interesting I thought I'd point out — The Japanese Amazon Furby listings and Hasbro's website have the line "いつもいっしょ~♪マイベストフレンド♡" in quotes at the start of their descriptions. "Always together~♪ My best friend ♡," in English. Is this meant to be a line from one of the songs Furby sings, but dubbed into Japanese ("Bestie for Life"?), or is this from something else yet to be revealed, like an advert or demo video?

24/5/2024: Entertainment Earth changed the month of release for series 2 of the Furblets to June, from May. I'm not sure when they changed the info, but I was told recently in a comment by francheska5795 on Instagram that the month of release for the series 2 Furblets is June.

Also, should have mentioned this earlier — A theory I've heard after sharing the photo of Par-Tay and two other series two photos, which makes more sense, is Mello-Nee and Luv-Lee are being reissued just so there are six Furblets in series 2, because Greenie Meanie and May-May (The Fierce and Fabulous pack) are Amazon exclusive, and can't be sold as a part of series 2. I wonder why two new Furblets weren't made to take their places, though? Also, I forgot to mention yesterday that the Fierce and Fabulous pack were listed on the Japanese Furby Amazon store, but like the other Furblet and Furby listings, they can't be clicked into. You can preview the Furblet listings, though.

23/5/2024: The Japanese Amazon store for Furby is up, and some pictures of the Japanese boxes are also up. Additionally, Hasbro has shared a demo video (YouTube reupload linked) of wave 2 for the Furblets, when they aren't out yet and have not been officially announced. The Japanese Furbys are not yet available for pre-order. Hasbro Japan will be the distributor instead of TOMY, by the looks of it. The boxes have no mention of TOMY, and the Amazon store is owned by Hasbro.

23/5/2024: Concerning the Dolls Kill collab announcement: DO NOT SUPPORT IT OR DOLLS KILL AT ALL. I was recently notified that they are controversial. While looking up about the brand, I learned that they have a history of stealing ideas from other designers, ableism, racism, and glamorizing pedophilia and rape culture.

22/5/2024: (yes, another announcement on the same date): Furby is getting a Japanese release, and will be priced at 9,900 yen. It should be available from the 5th of July, in Japan. Wave 1 of the Furblets will also be released on the same date (2,400 yen each). The articles about the announcement state pre-orders will be available from the 1st of June. Will add a link or some links when it becomes available for pre-order.

22/5/2024: We may be getting a Dolls Kill and Furby collab next month, according to a Hasbro article. This might not be about the 2023 Furbys, as a lot of Furby apparel features illustrations of either the Furby Booms, 2012s, Furby Babies, or 1998 Furbys. They currently (archived link) have a Furby shirt on their website. Also, maybe this is ridiculous to mention, as it's only a minor bit of info — "fabric/yarns" are said to be a part of the things that will be released as a part of the Furby arts and crafts kits.

21/5/2024: From an article published by The Toy Book (archived link), yesterday: "For North America, Hasbro has inked a licensing agreement with Tara Toy for Furby-themed arts and crafts kits that come with paints, pompoms, jewelry, and more. This collaboration, which is set to launch next year, follows the launch of Tara Toy lines for Peppa Pig and My Little Pony." While this other bit of news isn't recent, Joe Laplante mentioned on his website, "...I am working closely with licensed consumer product teams to expand the universe of Furby to apparel, housewares, accessories, electronics, etc."

19/5/2024: There's a Cotton Candy Furby listing on the UK Smyths website which states it should be available on the website by the 1st of August.

14/5/2024: The display box for wave 2 of the Furby Furblets has been revealed, and so has an actual photo of Par-Tay! It's been confirmed that Mello-Nee and Luv-Lee are being re-launched as a part of this wave, since the display box shows images of both Furblets. I'm speculating that both color schemes did well for them to have been reissued.

23/4/2024: Yesterday, the Aurora Furbealis/Galaxy Furby was made available on Amazon US. Click here!

24/3/2024: Hasbro filed a trademark for "DJ Furby"! The goods and services category states "Animatronic plush toys". Could be for a new product? I hope it does not get abandoned like the i-Furby trademarks Tiger Electronics filed years ago. It currently awaits a registration number.
