Animation Reel Furby #1

WE'RE MAKING IT BACK TO 2005 WITH THIS ONE❗❗ πŸ—£οΈπŸ—£οΈπŸ“’πŸ“’πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Or not, since this is an unused design.

A really short clip of this Furby opening its mouth ridiculously wide to swallow a cookie, appeared in a compilation of animated clips by Creative Filter, a company which made Furby animations for Hasbro, showcasing features that were planned for the 2023 Furby. There is no sound from the clip in the video, just a soundtrack that plays over all the clips.

This clip lacks context, and we don't know for sure when it was made.

As it looks vastly different from other Furbys animated by Creative Filter, and Richard C. Levy, who worked with Hasbro on the 2023 Furby, stated the 2023 Furby's launch took three years to work on, you could speculate that it's from 2020. Also, the cookie it eats is the same one that appears in a video called "Totally Furby", which was uploaded in 2020 to Vimeo.

This Furby looks more like a 2005 Furby, with its long ears, top and bottom eyelids, and huge pupils in its eyes; it also doesn't have a small shape on its forehead or a faceplate.

The shape of its beak looks like a wide diamond, and it has a yellow pair of feet without toes. This Furby is mostly blue, with the tips of its ears fading to green, fur above its eyes and near the corner of its eyes being red, a green tummy area, a bit of purple fur above its beak, and a green stripe ontop of its head. It has red eyelids without eyelashes.

I wonder if they were thinking of giving it eyes similar to a FurReal Friends toy, judging from the model.

Something else I can't understand: Some retailers referred to Furby as a FurReal product, having the phrase, "Hasbro FurReal Furby" in the listing title. I'm guessing someone at Hasbro referred to Furby as a FurReal toy, which is why multiple retailers used that phrase in their listings, but I wonder if this was somehow a weird mistake by Hasbro or if this somehow happened because Hasbro had the intentions of making the era 5 Furby look like a FurReal Friends toy, but they just didn't go down that path.
