Note: For information on prototypes, concept art, and thoughts that the people who worked on the 2023 Furbys had, check the "Development" section. This page offers information on what the toy does and mentions the colors released.
The 2023 Furby became available for pre-order on Amazon in June, 2023, and the planned release date was the 15th of July, 2023. Like its predecessor from 2005, it has no tail, it can respond to certain voice commands, and it can move its feet. Its voice sounds a lot like Furby Connect, meaning, Gavin Hammon likely voiced it. But unlike previous the Furby types, this Furby is rounder, it has a glowing, heart-shaped gem on its forehead, glowing ears, and it does not move its beak.
In addition, while the 2005 Furby came with a spoon, and the 2012 Furby and Furby Boom came with stickers, this Furby comes with a necklace and mini clips you can use as beads for the necklace or clip in Furby's fur. You can also use the clips for yourself and wear the necklace if you want.
Furby can blink its eyes, raise its feet or ears one at a time or simultaneously, its heart-gem lights up when you press it, and Furby's glowing ears change color. Furby can be fed, pet, and tickled. As you play with Furby, you can unlock features such as songs, types of lighting for light mode, voice types for the "Copy Cat" feature, and types of exercises for the "Let's Chill" command.
Voice commands Furby responds to include:
For the last song, Furby expects you to play freeze dance, where you should stop dancing if the music stops and Furby says "Freeze!".
"We like to add a surprise or three, looks like you found one." — Hasbro's FAQ page for Furby
A few secret commands, not mentioned in the manual, include:
The Dutch version of Furby was launched in 2024, as stated by an article on upcoming.nl and hln.be, while pictures of a Czech version of the box seem to have been first spotted in 2024.
The Japanese version of Furby is set to release on the 5th of July, 2024. Wave 1 of the Furblets are also planned for release on this date. Instead of Tomy, it looks like Hasbro Japan will be Furby's distributor.

I have not verified if the two Spanish Furbys actually speak differently from each other.
The 2023 Furby was initially released in the Coral and Purple color schemes. The French version of the Tie Dye Furby became available for pre-order in June, 2023 on the French Smyths website, with the expectation of being available for purchase in September. The Galaxy Edition Furby, was leaked in an Instagram story from Coppola Studios in August, 2023, but it had its face blocked out. The name 'Aurora Furbealis' was later discovered in a PDF of upcoming products, from a French website owned by Hasbro, and listings from distributors for this Furby used this name instead of "Galaxy Edition".
The name "Galaxy Edition" was found in a listing description on unicornpunkboi.com, before the Furby was officially released on Amazon with the name in the listing title.
The Cotton Candy Furby, a pink fluffball, appears to have been first released in Hong Kong in July, but it was expected to be released on the 1st of August on the Smyths UK website. The PDF file mentioned the words "Pineapple Pop"; it could be another Furby color that is yet to be released, but it's unclear.
