Furby Yoga

Free Furby-themed yoga and meditation sessions are scheduled for NSW school holidays to encourage children to have fun being physically active and learn about mindfulness, while staying away from electronic devices. Each session is 30 minutes, and Rishika Sethi will be the instructor.

Tickets are available via eventbrite.com, from Hasbro. Ensure you arrive 15 minutes early to your session. A maximum of thirty people will be attended to per session. Mats are supplied, but it is suggested to wear comfortable clothing you can move easily with.

Each session features the following activities:

Colorful zones: "Sessions will take attendees on a sensory journey of touch, sound and sight." Attendees will get to walk into a Furby-themed room, with colorful and fluffy decorations, and a calming soundtrack.
Interactive activities: Games and animal stretches.
Positive affirmations: Repeating positive affirmations from Furby's "Let's Chill" mode.
Mindfulness techniques: Simple breathing and meditation exercises.
Creative expression: Expressing creativity via imaginative play and movement.

The sessions will be held on: Thursday, 10th of October and Friday, 11th of October, 2024 from:

9:00 - 9:30AM
10:00 -10:30AM
11:00 -11:30AM

While children 6+ are the target audience, older children, parents, and caregivers can participate.
